Zurich/Geneva, 10 April 2024. According to the latest Talent Trends 2024 report from Michael Page, 32% of Swiss-based employees reported using AI in their roles compared with the European average of 23%. The adoption of AI was highest in the technology, business and financial services sectors.
These findings support results from its ongoing Candidate Pulse Study which shows that nearly 7 in 10 (69%) employees believe that AI will positively impact their careers helping them to adapt to new, future roles and improve productivity. 80% of employees want to learn more about AI to help their efficiency and adapt to future roles.
According to Yannick Coulange, Managing Director, Page Group Switzerland, “Our studies and daily interaction with candidates show that they expect employers to discuss what AI-driven tools are available touse within the organisation. However, many employers don’t proactively address their firms’ AI integration strategies, which leads to an expectation gap.”
