Between June and July 2019, advertised jobs grew by +1.1%. This is the first time in four years that advertised jobs have grown over this period; typically advertised jobs show a seasonal decline over the holiday season. The Swiss Romande led the growth in advertised jobs with a monthly increase of +5.8%. Advertised jobs grew in the German-speaking region by +0.4% over the same period.Job categories showing the highest monthly growth included specialists in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, IT development, audit, management and administrative support, as well as transport and related industries connected with online retailing.
