According to the PageGroup Confidence Index (Q3 2017), the confidence of job seekers has reached its highest level in 2017. 52% of candidates are confident about improving their overall professional situation over the next 6-12 months. This is the highest level in 2017 and an increase of +8% between Q2 and Q3 2017. Candidates in the German-speaking region are more confident (57%) than those in the Swiss Romande (50%).Confident but PragmaticAcross Switzerland the majority (57%) of job seekers did not expect to increase their compensation levels or achieve a better work-life balance (63%).
