Zurich/Geneva, 3 May 2023. The Swiss job market has defied recession fears with advertised jobs growing +5.0% between March and April 2023 and +3.2% year-on-year. Even banking had some positive news; the advertised jobs for investment bankers grew +5.7%, despite a large percentage of these jobs typically not being advertised and advertised financial services jobs falling by -4.9% over this period. According to Yannick Coulange, Managing Director, PageGroup Switzerland, “Overall, the Swiss recruitment market is robust. It remains a candidate-driven market, but employers are becoming more picky and demanding of candidates in the recruitment process.”Download the PDFDownload photo
