Entering 2024, we face a strong demand for talent, but heightened economic and geopolitical risks have made businesses more cautious. In an environment where ambitious growth targets will be harder to achieve and cost constraints prevail, salaries are set to remain relatively static. While inflation is being felt by many employees, mass negotiations to cover cost of living increases appear unlikely. Employers will handle salary raises with an emphasis on performance. Now more than ever, transparency regarding salaries, bonuses, and career development opportunities is critical.
We are delighted to present this new edition of our Salary Guide, designed to accompany you throughout the complex exercise of recruiting, or to (re-)negotiate your salary. To help you navigate through this challenge, our benchmark presents salaries of more than 550 positions and the latest recruitment trends in 15 sectors. Scroll down and enjoy the read!
Salary Guide & Hiring Trends 2024
Our salary and trends analysis benchmarks profiles of SME & Blue-Chip organisations with salary data until end of Q3 2023 across the entire territory of Switzerland for entry level up to executive positions. Primary data source are the 1,500+ placements we complete each year. This data is aggregated with the salary information provided by the +25,000 candidates we are meeting each year – excluding the ones who are not currently working in Switzerland. In case the sample of data gathered is not sufficient to provide an accurate view, we use external sources of information and metrics from our previous salary studies and confront them to the overall perspective on salaries shared by our clients. Due to the variety of missions we conduct each year, this guide presents mid-point figures that may vary +/- 15% according to the company’s location, size, sector and benefits practices. Due to the great diversity of bonus systems and processes in Swiss companies, all salaries listed are fixed annual salaries in thousands of CHF (kCHF) only (including lump sum if applicable).
